**75 insurgents killed in Iraq

BAGHDAD: American troops killed 75 insurgents in a sweep near the Syrian border, a base for Iraq’s most wanted man, Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, following a weekend of heavy American troop losses, said the United States’ military on Monday.

I have been hearing figures of around 60, 70, 80 etc, the number of Fighters killed by the Americans since March 2003 nearly every other day (claimed by the Americans)… how much is there truth in this? I mean, there must be hundereds of thousand of Iraqis atleast if not millions who seemed to hate the Americans!
