Re: 70pc want permanent ban on Facebook

^ not yet !

Re: 70pc want permanent ban on Facebook

LHC took off the ban .. hypocrisy of Judges..

is this coincidence or .. what .. "nawaz sharif, shahbaz shareef & khawaja shareef" ..

Hmmmmm..

but then again why should be seperate ourself from the world? im sure non-muslims wont be joining this site. Why cant we all just use facebook like the rest of the world and stop making it a big deal. For example when jahil pakistani's and some other muslim nations make pictures of bush and burn them or burn flags of american or britain what do u think those people do? SIMPLY IGNORE. So why cant be do the same? Yes nauzobillah what they did is very wrong but hey theres good and bad everywhere. We simply have to ignore it, Allah will deal with those. Just imagine how much loss market has to go through in pakistan due to the ban.

that millatfacebook is made of 200$ facebook clone script - a product of some company in uk.

And guess what it’s worst then i thought, please don’t even dare to compare that piece of crap with a fine site like facebook !

try this one, far better then this millat crap:
http://www.bingo.com.pk

Also millatfacebook should prepare for lawsuit by facebook on trademark infringement. They are using their TM name in the domain

Why am I having a hard time believing that FB has apologized to the Govt of Pakistan?

I know the main reason is that it is coming from Rehman Malik and secondly I haven't found any news source which is claiming that FB has indeed apologized.

and even if they have apologized (which is a totally different dicsussion), why Pakistan? Is Pakistan the only place where Muslims live?

In my opinion it is just a face saving lie from Rehman Malik or any other Govt official.

Re: 70pc want permanent ban on Facebook

you can't generalize from a sample of readers of a specific blog to an entire population. Talk about a deceitful news headline based on big ass sample bias. The correct headline should be "70% of ProPakistani.pk readers want permanent ban on Facebook".

This total shmuch thinks that by issuing false statements like this he can earn credibility or gain trust from Pakistani awam, in fact he is encouraging people who resort to street power for such demands. Total retard.

Re: 70pc want permanent ban on Facebook

just ban the damn internet man. in fact, ban computers.

naa rahay gaa baans... na bajay gee baansuri.

and the mobile phones :chai:

Re: 70pc want permanent ban on Facebook

to be fair, i am very surprised that facebook ended up backing down even slightly. the original group is deleted although there is now a replacement group for it with the same kind of pictures. i havent seen an apology reported anywhere else, but they havent contradicted it either.

Re: 70pc want permanent ban on Facebook

update:

blocked locally, as PTA had originally advocated, as I believe facebook had proposed/agreed to early on. appropriate resolution?
