China suffers the worst brain drain in the world, according to a new study that found seven out of every 10 students who enrol in an overseas university never return to live in their homeland.
Despite the booming economy and government incentives to return, an increasing number of the country’s brightest minds are relocating to wealthier nations, where they can usually benefit from higher living standards, brighter career opportunities and the freedom to have as many children as they wish.

I guess freedom is too good a gift, greater then 10% growth in economy. Freedom is a genie, once unleashed, it cannot truly be contained again.
70pct is a brain drain but don't seem uncommon. Pakistan's may be even worse. I am sure a similar percentage exists for India also. In fact for any country that's poor and whose students are able to get oversees education.
Ofcourse the communist regime may be adding to the problem

India is already up to its limits! The good 'cream' of the indian engineers are in the West and the new "talent" is half-assed. This is why you see companies like Dell pulling out of India and Motorolla has its operations in China.
