The govt ( Zardari) didn't kept his promises and the whole world has seen what happend to him.... everyone is saying that they cannot trust zardari.. he has lost his credibility... so Zardari is tasting the fruit..
Now Sufi Mohammad had golden opportunity, he should have laid down the arms, as per the terms and condition, and could have built a ideal muslim society where justice is avaible to each and every individual.. this system might hav replicated by itself to all the country... but Sufi Mohammad was either a fool or he had other intentions / orders to follow... so he broke the promise and this very much damaged his credibility, and brought him to the level of Zardari.. a guy who is struggling hard to get into power.. by any mean... just lust of power... by selling Islam...
I agree taliban got more expousre then they deserved, media has potrayed them as hero or a demon which cannot be defeated.. they are nothing more than ordinary thugs.. we have dealt with these kind thugs before.. remember operation in Karachi.. where MQM was playing the role of Taliban.. so is same thing.. lets hope that our army can give some relief to the locals. this is the season for them to make money.. i know for sure that, Swat and surronding areas heavily depends tourism, but given the current situation, where the area has been taken hostage by some thugs in the name of Islam, i am sure Swaties are going to suffer big time...
I agree. Actually, their motives became quiet clear as soon as they declared that once Qazi courts will get established, their first job will be to execute the people who had opposed them. This clearly indicated that there is more to the show then religion here.
