How do you guys like it? I have heard good things about lincoln but owning american cars have put a big dent in my confidence in going for american cars the next time…

We are liking it very much. That is our vehicle of choice for the long distance travel. The only issue was the luggage space, but i have bought a hitch mounted cargo carrier and it solved traveling with bags and food cooler issues.
I just bought a Sequoia Limited Edition 7 seater.. Very smooth ride full of gadgets too. My First Toyota SUV has 300K Miles city Stop & Go on it and still going strong.. No major issues minor schedule maintenance and wear and tear which is normal.
Isn’t that an overkill with bad mpg and stiff ride (body on frame)?
You might as well go for highlander, though the hybrid highlander should be avoided as the rear end is powered by an electric motor which shuts down if you are stuck in snow to avoid getting burned. This is the same deal with CVTs where the sensors stops them as they can rev very high like in a sticky situation and you don’t want the chain, supposedly better than belt, to break. Everyone now including honda are going to CVTs, so I wonder if things would improve or are we stuck in a low quality transmission cycle to increase mpg’s per US govt rules.
