A 7-day winter trip in Bosnia enabling people to enjoy a unique ski holiday. Bosnia-Herzegovina is an amazing country that has been recovering strongly since the war of the mid 1990s. Amongst its jewels is an abundance of mountains, forests,rivers, waterfalls, hospitable people and 600 years of Islamic civilisation in the heart of Europe. Home of the 1984 Winter Olympics,it is a great ski holiday destination for all ages and offers dozens of perks - first rate slopes, breathtaking surroundings,inexpensive accommodation,a great mix of local skiers and international tourists. The slopes cater to all levels of skiers, and resorts offer all the facilities including ski and snowboardrentals, ski shops and excellent restaurants offering various types of food. Our resort offers alternative activities: snowboarding, snow shoeing, snow scooter rides,night skiing, sledge rides and so.
The package includes:
Return flights, local transportation, hotels, meals, tour and ski trainer and equipment.
3* Hotel with shared rooms and all meals in ski resort for 4 days
3* Hotel with shared rooms and breakfast in Sarajevo City centre for 3 days.
Total Cost: £650 until 27th Dec 2010 after which prices will go up to £700 due to increase in air fare.
Once booking details are complete, an e-invoice will be sent to you by email. This must be paid in British £ Sterling via:
- BACS transfer
- Cheques or CASH payments
Activities include:
4 days of skiing with equipment and instructor 2 days Sarajevo historical tour with English speaking guide.(Ski clothes are not included and can be bought in Bosnia for around 30 euros i.e. gloves, jackets)
Historical tour of Sarajevo includes:
Baščaršija area including Sebilj Fountain, Baščaršija Mosque, markets,Gazi-Husrevbey Madrasa, Martyrs Cemetery, Alipaša Mosque, and if possible the Nahla Women’s Centre.
Extra activities available (not included in package and will be additional charge):
Sledging / Paragliding / Ski Run / Jet Ski
Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive Airport to Bosnia and to resort, brief for week, rest and start skiing.
Day 2-5: Skiing and 5th day evening site seeing in Sarajevo
Day 6: More site seeing in Sarajevo and opportunity for shopping
Day 7: Back to UK
Duration: 8 days / 7 nights
