So in this game Kiwis got good platform by Jesse Ryder and lower order blasted Pakistani bowlers and took the total to 311/7, while in last game Ahmad gave good foundation and our lower/middle order crapped and reached 262 (?). Good job by kiwis :k:

as soon as he gets the assurance for wc captaincy there goes afridi's poor captaincy skills...WHY DID RAZZAQ NOT BOWL ALL OF HIS OVERS????? its upsetting me! why did he persist with tanvir when he knew he wasn't doing good at all? why give the last over to hafeez?

In essence the 2 main reasons for today poor field performance:

  1. Sohail proved to be more than a weak link - He does not have the nerves to come back when he gets hit…Wahab Riaz is the obvious choice now for WC…
  2. Pakistan came in without a plan in mind and it showed in the fielding …so many chances went begging to be caught…

That is what piled the pressure on Fridi…nothing else…it was a “chill karo koi baat naheen, we’ll still win it…”
