these stats are worth toilet paper.. plus public surveys are stupid simply because well its unfortunate that it seems to me their brain just started ticking from 2007... i think they were asleep because even a neutral observer can tell the pakistan progressed in past 6-7 years.. i also dough the creditability of this survey..

and these stats are conducted by interviewing a handful people, 1000-2000 max. not representative of the opinion of country of 160 million for sure

Re: 63% Pakistanis rejoice over President Musharraf’s resignation

No matter. We, as a nation are in habit of creating turmoil and celebrating. Bothways. Cant behave mature and sensible ever.

Thats how statistics work.

Mushrraf & Shakut Aziz create an economic bubble that burst & now people are paying for it dictator's economic policies for over 8 years.

Re: 63% Pakistanis rejoice over President Musharraf’s resignation

"70% Pakistanis say past nine years were bad or vary bad and only 18% saying they were good or very good"

70% Pakistani people think the past nine years have been bad? Compared to the BB and NS era's.....

People in our country have such short memories!

Re: 63% Pakistanis rejoice over President Musharraf’s resignation

^ The 90s were much better, thanks to the inflation and terrorism we have seen. We might not have seen alot of numbers in the news back then, but generally people see the last decade being very harsh on their pockets, which is why they dont care about the numbers crafted by Shaukat Aziz.

The bitter reality is, a roti was Rs. 1-2 back then, now its Rs. 4-5!

Re: 63% Pakistanis rejoice over President Musharraf’s resignation

its interesting to see how anti-Musharraf groups see economy at his time

one group sees it as going downhill
other sees it as a bubble

both groups contradict eachother, without realizing that.

Re: 63% Pakistanis rejoice over President Musharraf’s resignation

And when i was in pakistan pre 1996 roti was 75p...obviously commodities most of the time go up...but so do salaries!

in that case, why not apply the same logic on THIS thread.. shall we?

the point is that it all goes to the way the questionnaire is arranged. you can get two opposite results from same group of people if it is arranged cleverly. Zia’s referendum rings any bells? :chai:

All these surveys showing support or defiance for MUshy are meaningless now.

Mushy will get away; judges will be restored, which will make NS happy, and Zardari will protect NRO by piggybacking it with Judges restoration resolution. Everyone is happy.. Pakistan PaindaBaad. :chai:

This is an independent survey, conducted by professionals whose reputation earns them the credibility to carry out such surveys. Please don’t compare them to sham referendums done by Musharraf/Zia.

Not if you continue to think he was some sort of popular president.

Thank you Mr. Najoomi  Atleast aap ney yeh tu confirm kar diya judge bahaal ho rahey hain.

Re: 63% Pakistanis rejoice over President Musharraf’s resignation

^^ hahaha typical Spock response.. selective reading and replying that is... NVM Spock bacha.. in two three weeks time we all will witness the same results. ;)

Re: 63% Pakistanis rejoice over President Musharraf’s resignation

selective?

It shows that people who are anti-Musharraf do think instead of being parrot "all is good" :p

so all surveys conducted in west and US where majority thinks all muslims are terrorists??? are we??? anything is possible under media rule.. the media controls the people and politicians control the media!

No credible survey says such a thing, stop making things up. If you want, post it up and we'll discuss it.

Really? Can you please cite one? Not the ones by Fox or Michael Savage, thanks.

Re: 63% Pakistanis rejoice over President Musharraf’s resignation
