6 September 1965 "Operation Gibraltar"

This day in 1965 war between India and Pakistan started which last for 17 days. Though the war was mostly on Western front (West Pakistan only), the strategy of capturing Kashmir through gorilla war affair or through proxy war with India was disastrous for Pakistan economically and militarily. Not only Pakistan never gained the economy it achieved since partition but the relations with the world went down the gutter. World never treated Pakistan friendly after that war. Operation Gibraltar was complete failure and Pakistan lost this war with India. The irony of the fact is that the media and military janta made people of Pakistan completely fool that Pakistan was winning the war. It was not.

Story starting from 2 January 1965 Ayoub won the election by all dirty means but knew that people have rejected him
So in March he started an offensively action in Run off Kuchh, got some minor success .
Than he started an operation tJebralter in August perhaps on 5th of August according the Tashkent packet. A new created force was sent in Indian Occupied Kashmeer but it remained unsuccessful, so he sent army on Sesefire line and advanced to Chamb Jurian and Akhnoor area ..This was on first 5 days of September 1965
to be continued....

He lost elections against Fatima Jinnah. To avoid backlash, he started proxy war just to change the mind of people from elections to so called jihad. All media, judges etc..corrupt haraam khor sided with him and still some stupid people without knowing the ground realities, made him hero. Altaf Gohar was ‘Dawn’ editor then who wrote ’ Friends Not Masters’ on his behalf, when published during his rule sold Rs. 18.00 per book ( mind it gold was Rs 130 per tola then) after his un-ceremonial departure in 1968, the same book I had seen on foot paths of Karachi were selling at 50 paisa and still no buyers.

Operation this and operation that. Partition was the worst thing to happen to muslims of subcontinent.

Do you think so? Somehow extreme Hinduism has taken over Secularism in India in past so many years which somewhat proved that the once failed and concocted wisdom of ‘do quami nazria’ into a reality. Abul Kalam Azad rightly said that dividing India was like weakening the Muslims who would remain in India but he never talked about the Hindu extremists would ultimately take over India which would ultimately change demography of India making the lives of Muslims in India very miserable.
