Who ever wants to know how to get a six pack in short span of time needs to understand that high intensity resistance training plus a balanced diet full of healthy nutrients consumed on a regular basis is the primary key to getting rid of the belly fat .

If you are slim then you need to focus more on abs and less on dieting. If you are fat then you need to focus more on dieting than exercise. So I don't think the % you mentioned are 100% accurate.
A lot of people do abs and wonder why they don't have a six pack. The reason is that it may be there but its covered by layer fat and is not visible.

everyone's got a six pack!!... its underneath layer of stubborn fat as arshad rightly said. 10% is too low of a % in terms of exercise..you ofcourse need some high intensity ab workout in order to have ur abs shown. However, theres no such thing as spot reduction...doesnt matter how many sit ups or crunches you do, the fat around ur belly isnt gonna go away unless you start doin cardio which will reduce the overall fat % in ur body..that is when you start seeing cuts and 6 packs..
