tendulkar has played even more test matches against ZIM and bangladesh than mr. attapatu has but mr. tendulkar never managed to score even one double century against them.....so please dont dis credit attapatu for what he has achieved.....every players gets an equal chance in international cricket to play against minnows and it has always been like this....scoring a double centry against any side is not an easy task as it requires a lot of stamina, technique and application and more than anything else it demands the player to be focused for such long period of time ....

YES scoring double century against Minnows is easier than scoring 100 against good teams. It definitly looks true in case of Attapattu. This guy averages 110 & 81 aginst BD and ZIM(Not counting test match being played right now, after this match his avergae against ZIM woul dbe probably 100).Compare this to his average against AUS,NZL,SA,PAK which is 25,19,26 and 34 respectively. He is a batsman who is famous for scoring against Mediocre teams. Not that other players dont score against mediocre team but definitly they have respectable score against other teams too.
Look at the list posted by Ehsanbhai .Do you really think he belongs to this list purely on his class... Bradman ,
Lara ,Hammond ,Miandad,Dravid,Gavaskar, Greg Chappell, Greenidge, Zaheer Abbas. He must thank ICC's poor policys that his name is in that list.
