Saw this interesting comment about Pakistan team by the couch of the team.

Though he was concerned about the non-performing middle-order, he added that the Pakistan batsmen mostly perform in two gears: fifth or reverse, and hoped that from here on it would be the former.

So what do we need, a new transmission? or need to repair the old one. Or may be it ran out of fluid . Some need to teach them how to run at fourth gear or may be start with 2nd and 3rd first.

My advice, take the reverse gear out…

These bats even at their best can't chase 180+. If we blood newer players maybe they'll be able to set and chase targets.

Too late to blood new bats now, it had to be done a year ago. Better just hope these guys start producing before it's too late.

The team should have finalized atleast 1 year before the start of the cup, the only undefeated team in the tournament did exactly that.
Australia knew who they wanted for the final XI. Thats why they booted out the Waugh brothers 12 months before rather than making decision so late like Pakistan.
