5th ODI: Pakistan v Sri Lanka @ Colombo, Sunday August 9

Can Pakistan make it a respectable 2-3? The comprehensive win in the 4th game will have boosted their confidence.

OVERALL this will be Pakistan’s 703rd one-day game (won 378, lost 303) and Sri Lanka’s 582nd (won 269, lost 287)

Pakistan has the 4th-best record (look at W/L ratio) in one-day history after South Africa, Australia and West Indies. They could soon be third; not much b/w them and Windies.

:k:

2-3 would definitely be nice :hmmm:

All the best Pakistan :jhanda:

We may have lost the series but I'm not disappointed at all mainly because we found a great rare promising talent Umar Akmal. He has an awesome domesitc record and scored heavily against Australia A in Australia! not to forget a very good start to his ODI career. I can't think of any Pak batsman who was this successfull in his early part of career. This dude is gold. He is definitely future of Pakistan cricket inshallah!
We have Mohammed Amir and now O.Akmal. Things are looking good for us guys! All we need our seniors to regain their forms and we will be in good shape!

amen to that! I'm sure it was direly missed by the KK regulars.

best of luck to Pakistan... let's make it a 3-2 loss... instead of 4-1.

Re: 5th ODI: Pakistan v Sri Lanka @ Colombo, Sunday August 9

Kamran is stunned
0.1
Kulasekara to Kamran Akmal, OUT, Kula's in business straightaway but he's very very very lucky to get that wicket because there is a thick inside edge, the ball comes in off the seam around the off stump and Kamran gets a lot of wood on that before the ball knocks his pads, Gamini Silva thinks about it, walks to the side and suddenly raises the finger

**Kamran Akmal lbw b Kulasekara 0 (1b 0x4 0x6) SR: 0.00 **
