The good thing is team finished the match early, better than taking it close and then loosing.

I still think...Kamran's unfair dismissal was the turning point in this match... sigh
You should thank the umpire for giving you something to console yourself with.
Listen...nobody who understands cricket will argue that Pakistan is a great bowling side (probably the best).
But Pak's batting and fielding suck. Pak may have scored 250+ in the last 2 ODIs but they won because of their bowling not batting. (BTW - even BD won an ODI against England just before this series).
You can't consistently win if you are lacking in 2 of the 3 departments.
Currently, only SA, Australia, England and to some extent Sri Lanka have well-rounded teams.

I thought the fielding was n't that bad in the one-day series. It sucked in tests for sure
Batting is not upto the mark and chasing even a half decent total is our main problem. definitely need to work on it

Atleast in one-dayers I w'd say these 6 teams (not necessarily in any order)
Australia
England
India
South Africa
Sri Lanka
Pakistan
can beat each other on their day
can probably even leave SA out...they are not a big tournament team! England are not known to do that well in the sub-continent
In my humble opinion next year's WC winner will come from one of the following 4 (India, Australia, Pakistan, Sri Lanka)

btw England also beat Australia 3-2 in July this year. Australia won the 4th and 5th ODIs when the series was already lost

All matches we won were due to our bowling in this whole series
