Re: 5th ODI - India v Australia Vadodra, 11th October 2007

hehehe, 20-20, bhai waah kya match tha...:D

but jahan tak 5 runs se haarne ki baat hai, i agree any team could have one with just a little luck on their side, and dil mera bhi kamzor hua tha, pahli baar laga tha ki logon ko india pakistan match dekhne pe kyon heart attack aata hai, sach mein :)

But wo kahte hain na, jo jeeta wahi sikandar, haarne waala bandar :)

Re: 5th ODI - India v Australia Vadodra, 11th October 2007

This is pathetic - some champions from the stands have cluttered one section of the ground with dozens of plastic water bottles. Needless, and a shame. The cops are taking action, and some ball boys are trying to mop up the mess. This is all down at fine leg. Laathis being wielded as the cops try to stop the unruly section. A hold-up in play, so drinks for the players.

again some mentality shown by indians ........... they shud learn from Pakistani crowd ............ ITS BETTER TO STAY AT HOME THEN TO WATCH UR TEAM LOOSING :D

Re: 5th ODI - India v Australia Vadodra, 11th October 2007

This was a classic rout.

Re: 5th ODI - India v Australia Vadodra, 11th October 2007

From cricinfo:

A nine-wicket win for the visitors, as comprehensive as they come. The pace bowlers, lead by Brett Lee and five-wicket hero Mitchell Johnson, suffocated the trigger-happy top order and with only two partnerships to speak of, one worth 41 from the last two batsmen, India limped to a total of 148. They failed to even bat out 40 overs. Only four men reached double figures.

Australia then cantered to a nine-wicket win. Adam Gilchrist had a great day, pocketing six catches, being part of a run out, and then getting into some form with an unbeaten 79 from 77 deliveries.

Re: 5th ODI - India v Australia Vadodra, 11th October 2007

What an anti-climax this series has been, it has made a mockery of 20/20

Re: 5th ODI - India v Australia Vadodra, 11th October 2007

2 down (IND + SL) , 1 more to go…:hehe: :k:

Re: 5th ODI - India v Australia Vadodra, 11th October 2007

1-3 with a classic touch or better Zor kaa jhaTkaa dheeraY saY lagaa :)

Re: 5th ODI - India v Australia Vadodra, 11th October 2007

I am not bashing anyone here but was n't it Symonds who said during twenty-20 WC, "You can be good if you have to be good only for a short period of time"

How right he was...

Re: 5th ODI - India v Australia Vadodra, 11th October 2007

we were a "test playing nation"....not any more..... these days we are being used for practice...
regards

Re: 5th ODI - India v Australia Vadodra, 11th October 2007

well sure, come and watch the "world champions"....it is quite a treat to watch........

By the way, I am so thankful to Aus and SA for inculcating a much-needed sanity into our minds, which otherwise were hampered by so-called perceived notions i.e. 20/20 WC finalists blah blah....
