So this book has apparently rocked the charts since its release. Is it really a masterpiece or just gained popularity because of its erotic nature?

I have read the reviews and from that I gather that it's poorly written. Nothing masterpiece about it....it got famous purely coz of BDSM+erotica in one book.

I picked it up because it featured on my library's top 10 list, but couldn't finish because it was so badly written. There's a reason it's called mommy-porn.

On a side note, I read a guy's review about the book - he said he gave this as a gift to his MIL and now he's suddenly become her favorite son in law. Somehow I don't think he was a desi guy :D

A - I like some Sydney Sheldon books. Master of the Game was awesome. The one about diamond somehting was good too

B - I really need to get my hands on one of these Mills and Boons books. All my fob friends keep referring to them and I have never set finger on one.

I've never read any of Sidney Sheldons novels so I cant compare, but it is crappy :D
