Only a few days until the Presidential elections, many Americans have already decided who they want as President, many have yet to decide. Its these voters who will be crucial to the outcome on election day. Its important that they are educated about the Bush Administrations record in office.
Some of Bush’s achievements include tarnishing the US global image by implementing disastrous neo-con polices which have destabilised the entire Middle East. Bush has led the US into a futile war based on lies and up to 100,000 Iraqi civilians have already been killed, yet these casualties mean nothing to his Administration. Bush’s domestic record includes the loss of 800,000 jobs in 4 years and turning a $236billion economic surplus into a $422billion deficit. Bush also alienated millions of muslims by implementing the most draconian Patriot act which is racist/prejudicial against Muslims/Arabs/Asians. More about Bush’s achievements listed below.
WITH the race to the White House reaching its climax next Tuesday, the campaign to oust President Bush has reached fever pitch. Former president Bill Clinton has blasted Dubya over Iraq and his anti-terror policies. A string of Hollywood stars are wearing John Kerry badges, while anti-war activists Bono and Bruce Springsteen have performed for the Democrat candidate.
I think the Bush name in itself creates a climate of fear in peoples minds. They know what he actually represents, a lying deceitful Administration that will try anything including hoaxes in order to propogate neo-con policies. Millions of peace loving Americans have had enough of his corrupt agenda and they will have a chance to kick his Administration out on election day. :k:
Absolutely right, DHP and I think personality matters and when seein at those polls I just ask myself where the hell does CNN n co get the ppl for voting on those?!
I mean with all respects to the ppl of America, I think only insanity can lead them to vote for him again.
Those neo-conservatives are a bunch of losers when it comes to accepting the truth, they hide behind one of the least intelligent Presidents in America's history. They will stop at nothing to propogate policies which appease their corporate backers and supporters, policies which have wreaked havoc in much of the third world.

I dont know why, but at times i feel that every Bush supporter is a racist in his views. Can we blame that!?
I never understood the mind set of those who still back him or support him. What are their purposes?!
Comparing both on campaign, the best view u get no them is when you get a glimse at the supporters at the back. At one side u have a whole Army and the other the rest of US of A!

Ali, dont forget the media has also played its part in programming the American mindset, since 911, media outlets such as Fox news have publicised the Bush Administrations right wing policies. In fact Fox News has become the mouthpiece of the Republican party and many Americans have latched onto its news stories you could say they were brainwashed, even if they were unsubstantiated or down right lies. I think these **Republican supporters are very easily misled* unlike democrats who prefer more independant and truthful news sources. Maybe levels of intelligance is also a factor here.
Ok I agree, DHP but I have even seen people who easily can say that Bush is the right person to lead their country. Besides the topic of War on terrorism or home land security, there r issues like Bush has a stronger voice, Bush has good jokes. He is a great figure. I mean cmon are those ppl insane or what and I’m not receiting any US Senate
Afterall this guy is not just a threat to Muslims, when i consider that USA is the most effectiv polluter and a treath to our enviroment.
Then G.W.BUSH does the following:
Ali, I think insanity may also be a factor, there are Republican supporters who will blindly follow Bush regardless of whether he lies, misleads or misinforms the US electorate.
Tuesday is my favorite day to read the newspapers, because two of my favorite columnists tend to weigh in with their regular doses of sanity in this insane world. Today, E.J. Dionne Jr. in The Washington Post offers an interesting reading on some recent opinion polls. Apparently, supporters of Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry have a more intense appreciation for the importance of this year’s election than their Republican counterparts, something that Dionne believes shows how out of touch this administration is.
James Carroll wields his moral sword in The Boston Globe, reminding us that the choice is clear when it comes to the nuclear issue (or nucular, as the prez would say). Paul Krugman in The New York Times reminds us that this presidency is rife with scandals and cover ups. Robert Scheer in The Los Angeles Times writes about Dick Cheney’s power behind the throne of the presidency. Can we stand another four years of Cheney as vice president?
When you guys are going to realize that Americans are not as smart as you think they are. There are few reasons why people support Bush
1) Majority of them are just too stupid to make any decision so they will continue to support Rethuglican Party as their parents did, so their grand parents and so on.
2) Guys who support Bush because of their extreme right wing mentality. Since Bush is doing heck of a good job killings muslims, so they are happy with Bush just because of this so called war on terror.
3) Soccer moms (also called freedom moms) are voting for Bush because they are falling for Bush scare tactics. They think that Bush will protect their kids by fighting enemies in Iraq.
Idiots come in all shape and sizes. Above are the 3 main categories of idiots who are voting for Bush. I hope that helped.
President Bush’s hometown newspaper, The Lone Star Iconoclast, endorsed him in 2000, but for this election “wholeheartedly” endorses Sen. John Kerry. The newspaper points out what Bush has done:
Empty the Social Security trust fund by $507 billion to help offset fiscal irresponsibility and at the same time slash Social Security benefits; cut Medicare by 17 percent and reduce veterans’ benefits and military pay; eliminate overtime pay for millions of Americans; give tax cuts to businesses that sent American jobs overseas, and, in fact, by policy encourage their departure; give away billions of dollars in government contracts without competitive bids; involve this country in a deadly and highly questionable war; and take a budget surplus and turn it into the worst deficit in the history of the United States, creating a debt in just four years that will take generations to repay. Economically, Bush has lost 1.6 million more jobs than he has created and has given millionaires $310 billion in tax cuts.
Environmentally, Bush stinks; his latest proposed legislation would give governors the right to clear-cut all 58 million acres of “national” forest, including parts of the Appalachian Trail, and our Kennebec River now has more mercury in it, thanks to Bush’s policies favoring coal-burning power plants. And how’s the war going? The bumper sticker “We’re making enemies faster than we can kill them” seems accurate; last month saw 2,300 separate attacks, including dozens of car-bombs and hundred of rocket-launched grenade attacks. Bush has been an economic, environmental, and international disaster. Nov. 2, please vote him out.
