i’m surprized to know that there are quite a few elders here on GS. i’m opening this thread with the sole purpose in mind to relate to them and to benefit from their life experiences. i’m a firm believer in age heirarchy. when i was a lil kid, i was told by my dad that in order to show respect to ur elders, always walk a step behind them, do not raise ur voice, never lie down in the presence of elders. it makes sense…give respect now to receive it when u r older.
so, iA, i’m planning to interview them one by one over a one-week period each where i will NOT ask any personal questions but rather questions in general. they can, then, bestow upon us their life experiences in terms of how they achieved what they wanted to achieve economically, socially and spiritually, how they raised their children, what challenges they faced in raising them and how they resolved the conflicts within the family [God forbid] and outside the family and at work.
so, at this time, plz just put ur names down and u don’t have to give us ur exact age coz signing up here automatically mean u r 50+
