People don't honor Pakistan for its improvements as of late!
However, I don't know if much of it is due to the Chaudrys' leadership or its due to Musharraf - he had these public works projects on agenda from day 1 before any Chaudry came in the picture.
This is what drives a country forward - is creating jobs.
If they can get their birth rate under control, and if they can improve health and sanitation, they'll maxmize their human resources. I'd like to see women get more involved in society as well.
Interestingly, did anyone see in a report in Dawn, that the "democratic" parties like PPP, PML, etc were involved also in banning women from voting in certain areas? I guess the Taliban aren't the only one who know how to make a woman grovel in dirt, instead of treat her like an equal citizen.
