Nars blush is very good… i use the Orgasm shade for most days.
CB: For shimmer, i like Bobbi Browns Shimmer Brick in Rose… it’s basically lots of different shades in stripes and you sweep your brush across the whole thing, it gives you a really nice rosey flush and cos it has a white stripe also, it leaves an iridescent glow
Maroush , is it me or are these products like freaking expensive ? Orgasm Blush is for £18 , this Bobi brown one is £28 !!!
Isnt there any better alternative pricewise?
My issue is that I get bored of things i have ,really fast , hence I avoid investing in expensive things coz anyways i hardly use makeup plus i get bored of looking at the same thing for ages !
..So I tend to buy non expensive things so even if i lose them, dont use as much, get bored , like some other product .. I wont feel pathetic :@:
^i doubt u will get tired of NARS orgasm. i dont think they have sephora in the UK but the good thing about it is that if u dont like a product u can always return it or exchange it for something else.
Dior Skinflash - I like the shades better then Guerlain's Touche Eclat
Mascara - I use so many and often times combine them to get a WOW-effect going on
Burt's Bees Chapstick - been using it for 5 years...nothing else like it
Lancome Lipsticks - I use very nude and flesh-colored shades. They make awesome lipstick, no taste, no drying, long lasting, so moisturizing...love them.
^ Sumo I had no idea you could return /exchange stuff ... but it sounds wow .. :@:
nope , we dont have sephora in the UK .. Wish we had one though ...
yeh i didnt know sephora had that policy till recently. the body shop and bath and body works actively market the fact that they will refund you gladly even if the product is like 90% used as long as u have the receipt. and without a receipt they will let u exchange it or get store credit.
i just found out about sephora a few weeks ago cuz i bought philosophy's hope in a jar used it a couple of times, didnt like it and also bought MUF foundation in the wrong color, tried it out a few times and it was a bit dark so i was speaking to a sales associate there and she said u can bring in the items, without a receipt, even if u dont have the original packaging and htey will let u exchange the products or get store credit. somehow i highly doubt u will see such policies in pakistan...ever!
Same: I have returned a used foundation, concealer and powder at MAC.
I bought them after the assistant used those product shades on me in the store. The next day i used them at home, and when i stepped out into natural light i looked a different colour! So i asked for a full refund, as i wasn't satisfied with what i got.
I did return it the day after... if you've had it for less than a month then it should be ok.....
Is it just me or does Nars lip stuff smell like..well rotting 99Cent store stuff? I’ve bought 3-4 lipsticks/lipglosses in the past and they all smell like a lipstick palette i got from..well a 99C store.
I just tried on a bunch of lipglosses/lipsticks today, MUF has gorgeous shades. I got one lipstick, its bright orange with speckles. cant wait to try it
Yikes..its only $25 here.
and yes im joining the convo a bit late, but yes sephora has an amazing return policy…just beware of the salesgirls sometimes, some of htem give u attitude and make u feel guilty for returning. in fact i do this all the time, if i’m bored with something or relaize i wont really need i tto imuch..i return it to get a refund or store creidt
oh and the funniest thing, I was at Sephora after trying on a dozen lip colors, i was putting vaseline on my lips (sinceI still have a bad reaction to something the skin is really sensitive) and the girl working there just "GASPED... and said Vaselin eis horrible! and she took me ot the "skincare specialist" who gave me $12 lipbalms. i think ill stick ot my 5 years of experience with vaseline.. :@:
