Also Felt in San Diego and Las Vegas. Cell phone services crippled by over use.

my family is there ,they r ok but my mother is very scared she says it was very horrifying

Yup I felt it. It was not a jolty one but swinging :).
No reports for any damage.

Yea no injuries reported. It's been downgraded from a 5.8 to a 5.4 Some water lines broke but no major damage reported.

The 'big one' ehtasab is a quake that is expected to hit S. Cali within the next 30 years one that 6.7 or higher on the scale. It will be a mess.

Have a emergency plan ready and spend your time worrying about the traffic to and from the beach instead :-)
