all laws of the game at this point are irrelevent as no one is disputing the laws !
Statement from the umpire panel specialy that of umpire Hair are very important if we ever get to hear what thy have to say about this situation.
But it looks like a huge historical blunder by this Umpre and the England team management !

pak have already registered a complaint with icc regarding hair and his biased umpiring, then why did they allow him to stand in the matches????
i heard on tv someone mentioning that hair is australian but is a british resident and hence by law he cannot stand in any test match in england....

Commentators saying that the umpires might refuse to take the field. Now that would jive well for Pakistan if they were to take the field. My vote would be to not come out and dont give an inch to the umpires or ICC...
