He is another one who has secured his place in the Pakistan team for next few years - even if he fails he in the future, he will still be recalled like Farhat.

He was dropped before and he seems to have worked on his weaknesses and come back and played very well in this match. So what's the problem?

nahin jee, there are times when you need to give credit to someone who was dropped from the side, and then after impressive performances in domestic cricket and with Pak A squad made his way into the side. And then in his very first innings delivered. What else do you want? Kya jan lay lo gay bachay kee:D

well said. Hafeez came back in the team through sheer hard work and consistent performances. So lets give credit to him. He has learnt to play a lot straighter than he used to. So obviuosly he has worked on his game. Too bad Yasir Hameed couldnt do it.

He had only played 3 Tests against BD and not so bad ave of 40.+, however he was horrible in ODIs but he was discarded from team altogether.
