I think there were some silly shots but he certainly didn't play as many upward shots or edge the ball as much... in fact, they were showing how he had been getting out in the previous games on similar balls and how he's managing today.
I'm hoping Woolmer would've worked with him to rectify his shot selection and hopefully that's made a lasting difference - hopefully...

^ but he did go by edging one to slips right? It sorta says his mode of dismissal is almost confirmed edge all the time. It not a matter of how, but rather when.

A splendid fifty from Yousuf, his 1 millionth of the year. In fact it's his seventh in eight Tests, and worryingly for England, four of those have been converted into scores of 173, 126, 202 and 192. :) [cricinfo]

I like Mohammad Hafeez. He is a solid player...
But I'm sure he'll never be heard of once Shoaib Malik returns...
This series has shown us that there ARE good options available for Pakistan. We've been unfortunate enough to only select the most underperforming and underachieving 'second options' in the last few series- Finally this time around, we have some assurance in seeing players like Shahid Nazir and Mohammad Hafeez.

pakistani openers always play well, in the last test match of the series to make up for next series hehe...pakistan is mvoing well right now, alhamdulillah
