Sehwag gone
Re: 4th Test: Australia vs. India at Adelaide, Jan. 24-28, 2008
Sehwag is holding on the end....the last person I would expect in the Indian team ...
so with this Viru has a 'permanent residence' stake on the opening slot in tests and ODI for a couple of years to come...
If you think about it, Sehwag was dropped by Clarke (a sitter of a chance) when he had barely opened his account.
But...nothing suceeds like success....I guess.

unable to understand your point -
are you implying that we should not go ga-ga over this performance or you meant that his performance is a flash?
if it is former then I am not going ga-ga - I am not a Sehwag fan but the way things work in Indian cricket I was hinting that he would cement his place regardless of how he performs in his next ten outings...

.
**HARBHAJAN **Gone.
Re: 4th Test: Australia vs. India at Adelaide, Jan. 24-28, 2008
bhajjji is out...
now some people are expecting Kumble to declare....for what fun may I know? are you expecting India to bowl Aussie out in 20 overs?

*Arey yaar....*not making any great point.....I just meant to say that Sehwag still remains a "lottery batsman" given that his 150 was not entirely chanceless.
Nevertheless, he is the guy who got us out of trouble here. And even if you don't go ga-ga about his performance, the newspaper headlines will.
Re: 4th Test: Australia vs. India at Adelaide, Jan. 24-28, 2008
A maximum of 21 overs remain....and even if India try very hard...they cannot lose this one.
Re: 4th Test: Australia vs. India at Adelaide, Jan. 24-28, 2008
With Sehwag's potential Man of the Match check in the bag, he can now fully utilize the services of "Eik rupay mein local call" (repeat 2x every 2 minutes and 40 seconds)
Re: 4th Test: Australia vs. India at Adelaide, Jan. 24-28, 2008
And the match is officially draw
Re: 4th Test: Australia vs. India at Adelaide, Jan. 24-28, 2008
Missing Rameez Raja, standing on the podium..
Re: 4th Test: Australia vs. India at Adelaide, Jan. 24-28, 2008
Now there is only one possible result - DRAW
So the Aussies take the series : 2-1
But , for once, I am proud of the Indian team...they have fought the Australians well......I would excuse them for the 1st test loss (since they went into it after playing just 1 rain-affected practice game). The second game was of course gifted to the Aussies by Bucknor (Symonds not given out, was crucial to the end result - there is no doubt in my mind)...
So, all in all.....very good performance by the Indians.
ditto
