4th Test: Australia vs. India at Adelaide, Jan. 24-28, 2008

Re: 4th Test: Australia vs. India at Adelaide, Jan. 24-28, 2008

Man, I am fully on this bandwagon - just hit 146 again, in what, the 10th or 11th over of his spell. Now just hope we can keep him injury free.

Re: 4th Test: Australia vs. India at Adelaide, Jan. 24-28, 2008

yeah the best thing about him gives his 100% and u feel he is out there for a reason, unlike some other 'youngsters' like munaf patel

Re: 4th Test: Australia vs. India at Adelaide, Jan. 24-28, 2008

pitch is keeping low and getting difficult to bat on
if india dont bat well, they could go on to lose this test

Re: 4th Test: Australia vs. India at Adelaide, Jan. 24-28, 2008

kumble drops a sitter

Re: 4th Test: Australia vs. India at Adelaide, Jan. 24-28, 2008

Re: 4th Test: Australia vs. India at Adelaide, Jan. 24-28, 2008

finally!!
aussies 564 all out
hope India doesnt choke like england did here
gotta give credit to sehwag, he has really made a difference

Re: 4th Test: Australia vs. India at Adelaide, Jan. 24-28, 2008

u have to give to australians the way they batted. They curbed their natural instincts to play very dfensively. They knew that they cannot chase a big total in the second innings. It was upto Indian bowlers to make something happen. Spinners had a lot of help, but Bhaji bowled horribly. He was bowling very flat. Kumble did not bowl that well as well. Pathan lacked pace. Ishant was the only saving grace. It didnt help matters that RP was injured.

Another century for Hayden to add to his brilliant overall test record.

Re: 4th Test: Australia vs. India at Adelaide, Jan. 24-28, 2008

India should be careful. Australia will be looking for early wickets and try to get a result out of this game. For them everything is possible.

Re: 4th Test: Australia vs. India at Adelaide, Jan. 24-28, 2008

Sehwag about to score a century...

Re: 4th Test: Australia vs. India at Adelaide, Jan. 24-28, 2008

And that is Sehwag's century! Well done!

Jai Bharath!

Re: 4th Test: Australia vs. India at Adelaide, Jan. 24-28, 2008

With Hogg as their spinner they are with less than half the bowling strength they had with Warne.

Re: 4th Test: Australia vs. India at Adelaide, Jan. 24-28, 2008

ganguly gone
umpires doing right thing by going upstairs when there was doubt

Re: 4th Test: Australia vs. India at Adelaide, Jan. 24-28, 2008

ok the news is Rahul Dravid is ruled out for two weeks....so he wont be batting in this match again....really hope that does not affect India

Re: 4th Test: Australia vs. India at Adelaide, Jan. 24-28, 2008

massive wicket - Laxman goes...

ab kya hoga...

Re: 4th Test: Australia vs. India at Adelaide, Jan. 24-28, 2008

Dhoni out

Lee and Sehwag are keeping their respective teams in the match.

Re: 4th Test: Australia vs. India at Adelaide, Jan. 24-28, 2008

Now there is only one possible result - DRAW

So the Aussies take the series : 2-1

But , for once, I am proud of the Indian team...they have fought the Australians well......I would excuse them for the 1st test loss (since they went into it after playing just 1 rain-affected practice game). The second game was of course gifted to the Aussies by Bucknor (Symonds not given out, was crucial to the end result - there is no doubt in my mind)...

So, all in all.....very good performance by the Indians.

Re: 4th Test: Australia vs. India at Adelaide, Jan. 24-28, 2008

I think there is no incentive for australia to really go for the kill now. if anything its risky now even if india gives aussi's 30 overs to bat. more than likely they will be going for a draw. I dont know why kumble is not declaring already.

Re: 4th Test: Australia vs. India at Adelaide, Jan. 24-28, 2008

Sehwag is holding on the end....the last person I would expect in the Indian team ...

so with this Viru has a 'permanent residence' stake on the opening slot in tests and ODI for a couple of years to come...
