Re: 4th Test: Australia vs. India at Adelaide, Jan. 24-28, 2008
we did down the Aussies - remember 137/6 in 2nd test at which point the umpire went blind and deaf. Symmonds went on to score a century and Aussies supposedly 'won'!
Gilly and Langer, NOT symonds.
Re: 4th Test: Australia vs. India at Adelaide, Jan. 24-28, 2008
^the talk is about the 2nd test in this series

Re: 4th Test: Australia vs. India at Adelaide, Jan. 24-28, 2008
Australia doing great so far. Trail by 375 runs.
**Aus: 151/0
Hayden: 83
Jaques: 55**
Re: 4th Test: Australia vs. India at Adelaide, Jan. 24-28, 2008
hayden is in a class of his own
really dominates the bowlers like nobody else can
jaques must be happy he is back, more importantly, australia must be extremely happy that he is back, what a difference he makes every game!

Gilly and Langer, NOT symonds.
saby yar kya 8 sal purani qabar khod rhay ho? Stir Casy is talking about the current series.

100 for Hayden, what a player ![]()
Re: 4th Test: Australia vs. India at Adelaide, Jan. 24-28, 2008
some cheer, 2 gone. Ishant somehow managed to find the timber behind Hayden. What a ball.
Re: 4th Test: Australia vs. India at Adelaide, Jan. 24-28, 2008
RP's injury is bad news.
Now we are one bowler short in addition to already being one batsman short.
If the Aussies manage to score 550+ by tomorrow lunch and declare, India might be left fighting with their back to the wall.
btw, Kumble should look to bring on Sehwag now.
Re: 4th Test: Australia vs. India at Adelaide, Jan. 24-28, 2008
is the pitch unplayable? cant belive aussies run rate is low
Re: 4th Test: Australia vs. India at Adelaide, Jan. 24-28, 2008
Friggin Australia's batting order is one stalwart after another.
After these two biggies - Clarke, Symonds and Gilchrist are to come.
And it does not end there - Bret Lee, Hogg and Johnson are not exactly runovers with the bat.
Seems near impossible for this bowling attack (minus RP) to dismiss Australia twice on this kind of pitch.
Re: 4th Test: Australia vs. India at Adelaide, Jan. 24-28, 2008
is the pitch unplayable? cant believe aussies run rate is low
Aussie overall run rate is 2.88 despite a century from a player as attacking as Hayden.
I think its because India is bowling in the so-called "right areas".
Re: 4th Test: Australia vs. India at Adelaide, Jan. 24-28, 2008
bowlers are bowling well after lunch
especially ishant sharma was amazing
but after tea
78.1 Kumble to Hussey, 1 run, dropped by Dravid at first slip, it's a difficult chance, Hussey pushed at one away from his body, the ball flew low and near his right boot, Dravid couldn't get down in time and the ball brushed his finger tips, India miss a chance right after tea
i think that was catchable, but dravid was sleeping
that wicket would have been huge for India
Re: 4th Test: Australia vs. India at Adelaide, Jan. 24-28, 2008
Bowden simply does not give any LBWs.
I think he has figured it is safer for him to not give an LBW than give a batsman LBW wrongly.
Hussey and previously Hayden already saved by Bowden.

BEAUTY......AND GONE!
Re: 4th Test: Australia vs. India at Adelaide, Jan. 24-28, 2008
Listening to the all Australian commentary team(+Tony Greig) is an absolute pleasure.
They have such great sense of observation.
Tony Greig was talking about how Pathan was setting up Hussey...and that Pathan was going to bowl the ball he bowled to get rid of Hussey.

Mushtaq Ahmed, in his expert views which he knows from the back of his hand, would have done a much, much better job.
Re: 4th Test: Australia vs. India at Adelaide, Jan. 24-28, 2008
i think that should have been given
ponting not offering shot to sharma, he just cant play sharma
Re: 4th Test: Australia vs. India at Adelaide, Jan. 24-28, 2008
Ishant impressive again, this time on a batting track.
