Colombo: Sri Lanka selectors are considering using three slow bowlers against England in the World Cup quarterfinals — a tactic initially devised for the group game against defending champion Australia.
Muttiah Muralitharan, Ajantha Mendis and left-arm spinner Rangana Herath could all pose a tough challenge for the English batsmen on Saturday on a R. Premadasa Stadium wicket which tends to keep low and slow.

Its possible, Eng have beaten SA, tied with India, so they do have potential but they have become erratic like Pakistan so it depends on their mindset when they enter the ground that day.

Although anything is possible in ODI, I can't see England winning against Sri Lanka either

Based on 20/20 hindsight, relieved Sri Lanka was not our opponent in quarters (backpedaling all the way).
