Mohammad Hafeez i believe wud make the best captain...but he wont get it...Razzaq will get it with Malik vc as Ehsan bhai said.

I don't think they would change the openers just for the sake of experimenting. If Afridi plays (he's more likely to do anything worthwhile during the powerplays) he should bat at 1-down. I know Farhat and Hafeez have wishy washy techniques (Hafeez slightly better in that regard) but they have done a decent job so far in the tests and one-day series. Both threw their wickets away yesterday. Farhat seems to have a mental aberration every time he gets to a decent 30-40. If Inzi does n't play then Razzaq ( seniormost + Inzi's favourite) will get the captaincy.
But it's going to be a tough call in the absence of Inzi and the two Y's. Lara is not going to fail in every game. He is due a big score and Multan may just be the place where he finds some form with the bat.

Lara wouldnt have any advantage with the bat with Inzi Yousuf and Younis gone. The bowlers will remain the same infact we're going to get two better slip and point catchers.
The only advantage Lara will have will be his experience as a captain which is 10x more than shoaib or razzi's combined.

There is no need to play shuffle at the top order (openers); Hafeez and Farhat should carry on from the last game and make a big partnership (opening stand) that will certainly boost their confidence. As for induction of Afridi and Iqbal, I believe that both (Yasir and Iqbal)will replace Younis and Yousef, As for Inzi (if not fit, Afridi will squeeze in the 11).
Apart from the above changes I dont expect any more (eni-meene-my-ne-mo).
Captaincy issue, well there should be no speculation and Razzy should lead the way in absence of 3 senior players. Malik can be his deputy, many of you have not seen Razzy in charge but he is a good fit for captaincy.
IMO this should be the 11 for Multan:
1) Hafeez
2) Farhat
3) Yasir (In place of Younis)
4) Iqbal (In place of Yousef)
5) Malik
6) Razzaq *
7) Akmal+
8) Rana
9) Rehman

Razzaq is a veteran of 222 one-day appearances
All-rounder Abdul Razzaq is likely to captain Pakistan in Wednesday’s one-day game against West Indies in Multan.
They have been forced to turn to Razzaq because regular skipper Inzamam-ul-Haq, deputy Younis Khan and Mohammad Yousuf will all miss the game.
Inzamam has had three stitches in a finger injury, Younis is still absent following the death of his brother and Yousuf’s wife is ill.
Pakistan lead 2-0 and victory in Multan would seal the series.
They have called up Faisal Iqbal and Shahid Afridi to bolster their squad and both are expected to play.
Faisal, the nephew of former Pakistan captain Javed Miandad, is not surprising as he was also called up to replace Inzamam during the recent ICC Champions Trophy.
But he did not play in that tournament and it is over three years since he won the last of his 17 one-day caps.
Afridi was until recently one of the first names down on the team sheet and he will see his recall as a chance to cement a place again ahead of the World Cup.
“Afridi has done well in domestic cricket this week and the selectors felt he was the natural choice,” a Pakistan Cricket Board spokesman said.

I bet you guys, this would be the team. Rao will be dropped for Afridi. However, I must say Rao is proven to be a very good bowler for middle overs on local conditions in Punjab. Let see.

Shahid Afridi should have captained this match...just for the thrill...though Razzaq is okay too... :)
PS: WI might win this match easily...as our batting line has been disrupted...but the bowling clout stands... :D

Replace Farhat with Afridi - your lineup is good.
who cares about Farhat’s half century. He was saved like 10 times. Don’t expect him to play good in SA and in the WC. Afridi is still more reliable.
actually, Yasir can take Hafeez’s place. Hafeez doesn’t need to be in. Shoaib Malik is fine for number 3 position, i guess
