Out of the last 12 international encounters between Ind-Pak,India has won 10. (8 ODIs and 2 20/20 games)

Yuvraj/Dhoni combo does it again for India.

Congrats to all fellow Indian fans.

As I have stated earlier....Pak team has all the elements required for a terrific ODI team (besides the fielding department)...so many of Pak players seem to be tailor-made for ODIs (and not to mention Twenty20s) but somehow they have not managed to gel well as a team.

Malik opting to bat first today was atrocious, btw.

On second thoughts, Pak have traditionally always relied on "individual brilliance" for success.... for example Waqar..Wasim in 90s, Inzimam, Shoaib Akhtar etc.

In this series, there was some good individual contribution (eg from Butt, Younis, Yousuf in different matches) but they were not good enough to get Pak over the line.

Also, captaincy aspect of the Pak team has to be sorted out by the PCB sooner or later. Malik is just not the man for it...and I am not saying this because Pak just lost the series. Malik is way too low-key a player to be the Captain. Unfortunately, besides Younis Khan there does not seem to be a good alternative.

PCB shot itself in the foot by making Malik the captain till December 2008.

Shoaib Malik made a worst decision .Even though India was the better team that decision made things easier for the Indians.So after 24 years ....Great going India . Now keep it up in the test series as well.

p.s. n wat kinda stupid statment was that by Kaptaan saab k yeh match meri zindagi or maut ka masla hai!

^ No need to blame on the situation back home. I think Indian team was better than Pak and they won.

I am really happy Australia is thinking of canceling Pak tour and I hope they do. Thats the only way for Pak to avoid humlliation.

I think Naseem Ashraf should announce another year's extension in Malik's tenure. His leadership has been Inziesque and he has hardly contributed anything with the bat all series. But for the two Y's we would have been humbled by an even greater margin. Oh! poor Tendu, 6th time this year and (16th time overall) that he has been dismissed in the 90s. He must be wondering what on earth is happening.
