yup...no doubt abt it...Australia is just having fun with NZ...
Australia 296/7 (50 ov)
New Zealand 71/7 (14.3 ov)
14.3 Lee to Vettori, OUT: Lee hurries a good ball on to Vettori, rather
straight and comes back into him, trapped creasebound, umpire
Orchard calls for the TV replay on this one, which shows it just
pitches on the edge of the leg stump line, looks to be going
straight
New Zealand 71/7, Partnership of 20
DL Vettori lbw b Lee 6 (5b 1x4 0x6)
CZ Harris 15* (13b 3x4) B Lee 0.3-0-4-1
on to take middle stump, that information is relayed back to umpire
Orchard who raises the finger, and Vettori joins the 'infamous'
lbw-by-TV club, with New Zealand slumping further into
embarrassment
16.3 Lee to Harris, OUT: take that, Mr Harris! full on off stump and
swinging back in, Harris looks to drive but is just far too slow
to react, through the gate and strikes off stump low down
***New Zealand 78/8***, Partnership of 7
CZ Harris b Lee 19 (18b 4x4 0x6)
KD Mills 1* (7b) B Lee 1.3-0-9-2
18.6 Lee to Tuffey, OUT: and another one bites, and ... you know the
rest of the words by now, it's Tuffey's turn, good tight shortish
ball angling in on off stump, Tuffey pokes the bat at it, finds
the outside edge, straight to Warne at first slip
***New Zealand 82/9***, Partnership of 4
DR Tuffey c Warne b Lee 0 (6b 0x4 0x6)
NZ 132 all out. A very professional display by the Aussies.
Man of the Match is awarded to Glenn McGrath for his 5-37 from
7 overs, unusual figures from him, but he says he'll take them -
he says he was either taking wickets or being hit for four, it was
a funny old day
man the aussies are just too good to be beaten on any surface. they are very professional and have set such high standards in the game that not every team can achieve them. new zealanders have a decent team but they were never in the game. the australians just whopped their butts at their own convenience in the game. i will put my money on australia to win this trophy and the world cup next year.
