Oh I thought you were talking about the city since you mentioned the mayor of Chicago... Also you bashed BB for Surrey palaces, how is this so different? Why must we spare our favourite leaders if they do the same thing the crooks before them were doing?

75% of Pakistanis make less than 2 dollars a day.
Price of tomato 1.3 dollars per Kg.
Terrorism at the highest since the creation of Pakistan.
Daily suicide bombings.
Daily 15-20 soldiers killed.
It has never been as bad as this.
Re: 499 high and mighty in for trouble - another great step by CJ...
Exactly, Musharraf did NOT deliver, it just seems, the pro-mqm-mush ppl are trying to portray this false image of musharraf on this forum but its just too fake, just like how you read sillybilly/reza's troll articles and not pay much attention to them, they're just not working.
Re: 499 high and mighty in for trouble - another great step by CJ...
This was what I was trying to prove in another thread. Mush is no better than BB and NS. In fact he is more corrupt because he has the absolute power. As regard better economy, that is a bs and propoganda by MQM and Mush lovers. Yes economy of dictator and his cronies have definitely improved.
Re: 499 high and mighty in for trouble - another great step by CJ...
Unfortunately dictators samajhtay hain mulk ki amanat un ke baap ki jagir hay jis tarah chain is ko lootain. Had Quaid-e-Azam alive today and seen this loot mar he would have asked Allah's forgiveness what kind of country he had created. Choron, latoron, bhutta khoron, jhoot ko sach aor such ko jhoot karnay walon, ki amaaj gaah.
Re: 499 high and mighty in for trouble - another great step by CJ...
Wasim Sajjad is a true lota... I mean the guy, one day before Musharraf took power was in Saudi, and when Musharraf took power immediately called Pakistan and swore allegiance to Musharraf. Such crooks and lotaz cant be trusted, atleast there were some PML[N]ers who stayed true to their party. Rats like Chaudhry Shujaat, Wasim Sajjad were handpicked by Musharraf later.

I have posted the improvement in factors such as Human development indicators so many times that at this poitn i dont feel a need to repeat myself. and the financial and economic growth is for everyone to see. unless we are going to say that mussharaf nay world bank, imf, moodys, merrill lynch, foriegn investors, sab to colelctively topi pehna di.
Human development indicators have been steadily improving since the creation of universe except in wa areas where they go worse like in Iraq. I have shown u they were improving even in NS and BB era.

Forex comes from Uncle Sam's billions, selling states companies at throw away price and counting that as FDI and state bank buying dollars from open market.
Re: Mush and Shortcut cant use their lavish farmhouses in Islamabad - CJ's ruling
oh, whatever happened to those lavish farmhouses built for Dr. Qadir Khan close to Rawal Dam about 10-12 years ago? Oh boy they sure were awesome though, one of them had a glass observatory going down into the dam...
Yeah I remember, the place was called Bani Gala or something...does AQK still live there?
Re: 499 high and mighty in for trouble - another great step by CJ...
We're having the same misconception and voluntary confusion over Musharraf supporters and MQM supporters, both of which are two entirely separate phenomena and groups. They might share some views but are never the same thing, nor one, and there is no such thing as "Mush/MQM supporters".
Avoid such generalizations and don't create bad taste guys.
Re: 499 high and mighty in for trouble - another great step by CJ...
However, a majority of those who were allotted these plots, mostly army officers and bureaucrats, later sold them at much higher prices after the CDA brought about changes in its by-laws to accommodate some powerful people to sell these farms. Musharraf and Shaukat Aziz too have purchased farmlands from the actual owners.
** First of all**, this article is written with mala fide intention. How on Earth is this possible that politicians are not the beneficiaries? How are only army officers and bureaucrats reaping such benefits? There are farm houses of plenty of politicians, judges and top lawyers there as well.
** Secondly**, when was this by-law passed by CDA. Is it during Musharraf's time. If the law was passed during Musharraf's time, then surely him and his team should be held accountable. However, if the by-law was passed before Musharraf's time, then these by-laws should be considered legal.
Third, both Musharraf and Shaukat Aziz have not received these farm houses from CDA at throw away prices. They have both bought them from previous owners. So they have not received favors from CDA.

Haha! This is funny. State bank buying dollars from open market.
Throw away price: Which state company are you talking about? It will be interesting to know.

Why did that surprise you? State Bank buys and sell dollars all the time. In Pakistan's case to keep exchange rate artificially at 60 to a dollar.

HBL, NBP, MCB, PTCL, and lets not forget the steel mills. Thank God SC intervened and stopped the transaction. These are well known companies, but there are many more. All this in the name of privatization with little or no oversight. All this will come out when Mush and Co are no longer in power, and new version of NAB comes after them.
Re: 499 high and mighty in for trouble - farmhouses in Islamabad - CJ's ruling (merge
wow, an ex-executive of citibank who use to own a private jet in new york and a lavish house with a sprawling office overlooking manhattan bought a 2 acre farmhouse in the suburbs of islamabad,
whats wrong with you guys, just cos hes a prime minister he cant purchase property and when he does he automaticly becomes corrupt,
same thing with musharraf he has enjoyed high positions in the army and is rich enought to buy a farm house way out of islamabad.
these two guys have earnered well enought money in their past that they probably have the amount for these properties in there pockets, even before coming into the goverment.
shame on the chief justice and all the people who are beliving this messed up article.
the whole article is exaggerating, and some kids are falling for it.
