UK married men least likely to surf for extramarital liaisons

UK men make some of the world’s most faithful partners, with only one per cent visiting dating websites in search of extramarital liaisons, research has claimed.
According to a newly published global study by dating site CupidBay.com, married men living in India proved to be the most unfaithful, where an astonishing 49 per cent actively seek sexual relationships on the web.
Second place in the love rat stakes was Pakistan, with seven per cent of husbands using the internet to seek extramarital sex. This was followed by men from Egypt and Saudi Arabia, at six per cent and five per cent respectively.
In contrast American men proved to be devoted to their wives, with just two per cent looking to cheat, although they were still twice as likely to do the dirty as their UK counterparts.
The most faithful of the world’s married men reside in countries including the Republic of Ireland, Cyprus, Greece and Scandinavia with all of these areas polling less than one per cent.
“The study is an eye opener and may be indicative of changing attitudes towards marriage across the world,” said CupidBay’s relationship guru, Francis Deacon.

Errrrr - how does this fit into the common perception of America and western society as the dirty dogs? I have been waiting with baited breath for people to comment. The only thing I can say about this is I wish the source was a bit more reliable.
Re: 49% Indian married men actively seek sexual relationships on the web.
One reason for high percentage could be very few Indians must be on the net, so the sample for the survey was very small compared to India's population. While most of the developed world has access to net , a tiny percentage (maybe less than 5%) would have access to net in India or developing world.
Re: 49% Indian married men actively seek sexual relationships on the web.
So the success rate in Egypt and Saudi Arabia is much higher than that in Pakistan or India. If only 6 – 7 % of Saudis and Egyptians married men are looking to get laid, that simply means that the rest (90 + %) have successfully gotten sex.
Poor Indians, and Pakistani.
I am not surprised about the Brits…who will sleep with them anyway?

What nonsense, ravage!
A married man comes on to me, I'm not going to think - wow, he's committed...I'd think , wow he's cheating on his wife, and I'm like what? the 10th girl he wants to have an affair with?
Married men are not irrestible - especially the ones with beer bellies.
Re: 49% Indian married men actively seek sexual relationships on the web.
ghulail, so you trace a user by the internet to their location... you think this slack of a researcher had the money to find out if the member of that family is the married husband/father figure? How do you know its not the horny son posing as his father?
I'm sorry - there is NO way you can defend this study as good science.
Re: 49% Indian married men actively seek sexual relationships on the web.
PCG, if you have to get your car fixed, wouldn’t you take it to someone who has fixed cars before? Or would you take it to some female mechanic with no car fixing experience?
Re: 49% Indian married men actively seek sexual relationships on the web.
i mean come on, who the heck can take this seriously? the difference between first and second place, is 49 and 7 percent? that isnt 'surprising' thats damning. the sole thing that can be claimed from this 'study' IF its actually accurate, based on sound data, and honestly reported, competently compiled, is that amongst the people registered on that website, 49% indians who represented themselves as married were into cheating pakistanis 7% and so on.
Re: 49% Indian married men actively seek sexual relationships on the web.
no smartass somebody might volunatrily register as a married man on a dating site ‘anonymously’ and have his location analysed thru cpu time and url-tracking…its that simple…no science required my cute bio girl…
