Mashalah, more terrorists were killed then even reported before. This is a big hit on terrorist Baitullah’s network. Quite a few commanders were sent to hell. I bet this was coordinated with Pakistan army actions and no doubt the deaths of so many terrorists will save lives of soldiers and civilians later on.

 PESHAWAR: More 12 injured in the US missile attacks in South Waziristan Agency succumbed to injuries raising the death toll to 83, Geo News reported Wednesday.

According to sources, the funeral prayers of extremist commander Khozhwali was being offered in native village of Baitullah Mehsud Shobikhel in South Waziristan Agency, when a US surveillance plane once more attacked with two missiles, killing at least 65 on the spot and injuring 60 others.

The missile attack targeted the hideouts of Baitullah Mehsud, where an important commander Qari Hussain and Commander Sangeen are reported to have been killed.

Commander Sangeen belongs to Afghanistan.

There are reports regarding the killings of other important commanders as well; however, no confirmed reports have been received thus far.

whoa 83 dead…

usually drone attacks kill like 6-8 people…not such a massive number like 83…

could be that the USA is using more lethal missiles or could be a US Air Strike instead of a drone attack

you cannot blitz a funeral without hitting innocent people, but if your blinded by propaganda or by your own selfish interests then this incident will seem fair

I bet you weren't making the same arguments when taliban were blitzing funerals of their opponents, were you?

The truth is, to defeat a brutal enemy, sometimes you have adopt and adapt some of their tactics. This will save the lives of many jawans of the army, as the panicked talib have now lost some experienced fighters.

^^ US has never targeted funeral processions

however this was a rare instance in which the funeral was attended by taliban

when a taliban dies ,his funeral is always attended by large number of talibans.
Once a talib of our mohallah died against U.S in afghanistan, his body was carried to his town by talibans and his funeral was attended by
thousands of people mostly non-local of taliban get up.

the only other attacks on funerals that i know of have been very disgustingly anti humanity and anti peace. the attacks were designed to inflame pakistan along sectarian lines by targetting shias. we have also had regular suicide bombings which are just as bad as this drone attack

if pakistan can attack what are its own citizens dont be surprised when some of its citizens attack it back. if you attack tribal areas, tribal areas will attack you!

there is also the matter of morallity aswell but i dont expect khekshen to be bothered by this word

Excellent news. I have always wondered why no one has attacked their funeral processions where all the big terrorists gather. They should not be even allowed to die in peace, the same way they do to their victims.

ISLAMABAD: A U.S. drone attacked militants in Pakistan in Tuesday, killing at least 45 of them, Pakistani intelligence officials said.

The militants were meeting after a funeral in the South Waziristan region, a stronghold of Pakistani Taliban leader Baitullah Mehsud.

The sources said the death toll could still rise higher to 50 or beyond.

Had Pakistani army killed these terrorists, the headlines from kehkhashan would have read something like this
“Punjabi army/ISI slaughtered innocent muslims attending a funeral”
