43-kilometre portion of N-75 to be opened for traffic soon
The first 43 kilometre portion of Islamabad-Muzaffarabad Highway (N-75) will be opened for traffic in near future, a source in National Highway Authority (NHA), Ministry of Communications told APP Sunday.
The highway is of strategic importance and links Islamabad with the Azad Jammu and Kashmir capital Muzaffarabad.
“Under the first phase, a four-lane divided carriageway that links Islamabad and Lower Topa in Murree Hills is being constructed by a local contractor and over 95 per cent work has already been completed”, the source said.
Its scope of work includes construction of five bridges and 200 cross-drainage structures. After opening of N-75, he said, the distance between Islamabad and Murree would be reduced to just 43 kilometres and the journey time would be halved from 1.5 hours to only 45 minutes.
The Japanese government has provided assistance for construction of the 65-kilometre portion of Islamabad-Muzaffarabad dual carriageway between Lower Topa and Kohala Bridge, said the source. “The bends in this piece of road will be removed and all dilapidated bridges will be constructed anew,” he said

Alhamdulilalla. Tax collection is highest in Pakistan’s history. When President came to power and saved Pakistan, Pakistan only had $500m dollars in reserves. Now it has over $13billion. There has been unorecdented level of Foreign Investment in Pakistan over the past eight years. Telecommunication sector is booming. More and more industries being set-up.

Sir, higher tax is only a reasonable solution, If salaries and income increase a fair amount.
The tax collection system is needed, but as long as you can provide more jobs on warrantable pays. Especially, for the middle class, otherwise lthis can lead to broadening class differences → entrepreneur acknowlegde petittion in bankrupty → increasing poverty…leading to total collapse of economy.
Merely foreign money flowing into our country convert the millions into billions.
But for how long, sir?

If building roads is the criteria for "leadership" then Nawaz Sharif should be on the same list..
