Indeed a learning experiment Dr CM. I would call it either being fragile or perhaps not having been able to develop proper control over their emotional reaction to various stimuli. The talons come as a natural feature - while some evolutionally more developed members of this specie exhibit better control over the harpy state, some seem to have a very weak control over it. Hatred for the 'man' appears to be a common trait. The ability to understand and process information, and the ability to differenciate between actual stimuli and pseudo stimuli is significatly lacking. I am sure further experiments will lead to more interesting findings.
