Three small parcel bombs exploded in different offices of Karachi Wednesday, injuring dozens.
At least twelve people were injured in the three different explosions that went off within minutes of each other.
Three small parcel bombs exploded within minutes of each other. The first bomb exploded in the Crimes Investigations department at a police station, lightly injuring two policemen. A second went off at a provincial government office and the third at the Artillery Ground police offices, he said.
At the Crime Investigations office, a large pool of blood was on the floor, windows were shattered, and a table blown apart. Eyewitnesses said the bomb blew up in the face of the police official who opened.
The second bomb, which exploded at the provincial government office, appeared to be the largest. The bomb exploded as a security guard was attempting to open the parcel.

KARACHI: A parcel bomb went off in the police station in Karachi on Wednesday, leaving several policemen injured, sources told.
No deaths were reported and it was not immediately clear how serious the injuries were, Syed Kamal Shah, the Sindh province police chief told THE NEWS.
A policeman opened the parcel and it immediately exploded, wounding several in the Crimes Investigation office of the Karachi police department.

some groups want police to go high tech and not blindly open the parcels. they try to punish them for whatever reason and making a point here, if police is not safe ? no one else is.
