its the third time within a month that my little one’s left eye has either a blood spot or has turned red near the tear duct area… any suggestions that what caused this?

Has s/he been sneezing? If so I think this can happen with people who have very sensitive tissues (Please would a medic here confirm/reject this) ... otherwise if the little one is very little like a few weeks to months then they may have scratched their own eye ... if they are not wearing mittens this can happen as well as scratch their face ...

yes he has sneezed a few times n yeah he sometimes pokes himself in the eye too
