There are a total of 127,568 villages in Pakistan and 90,489 have been electrified by 2004-05. There are 37,079 villages still without power. However, electrification work is in progress in 6,838 villages which will be completed by December. Electrification work in the remaining 30,241 villages would be completed by December 2007. :k:

Mashallah fantastic news, while the whole country is suffering form severe shortages and load shedding the spin and lies continue. The electrification of these villages has about as much truth in it as the declaration that the emergency was to fight terrorism. Spin at its best but than Mush jiaylas wont understand it. :D
