Re: 3rd Test , South Africa vs India , 2nd-6th January 2007, Cape Town init

What is wrong with Cricinfo?

Sachin scores 64 of 175 balls
Ganguly scores 66 of 88 balls

But Sachin gets the photo and a sub heading on the front page!

Re: 3rd Test , South Africa vs India , 2nd-6th January 2007, Cape Town init

following is from cricinfo, this is funny
"venkatesh Nomula sent us this interesting list of numbers at the start of day... India total 4+1+4 = 9, SA total 144 -> 1+4+4 = 9, SA trail by 270 -> 2+7+0 = 9, SA ball faced 252 (end of day two) -> 2+5+2 = 9, SA wickets remaining -> 9, SA Run Rate 3.51 -> 3+5+1 = 9."

Re: 3rd Test , South Africa vs India , 2nd-6th January 2007, Cape Town init

SA 373 all out :dhimpak:

Re: 3rd Test , South Africa vs India , 2nd-6th January 2007, Cape Town init

Yep...Only way there could be a result in this match if India gets out cheaply. It may even be good for India if they get out around 220-230 as this will open up the game with a lead of 270-280, which will be tempting score for SA to try.
If India doesnt get out cheaply, then I dont see Indian declaring untill they have lead of 350, which means that there wont be enough time for SA to go for win and the match will end up as draw.

Re: 3rd Test , South Africa vs India , 2nd-6th January 2007, Cape Town init

is this a new record/coincidence? if so I need to update this in my list of all such events "Date 02/22/2006, only time when all numbers are even" etc.

Re: 3rd Test , South Africa vs India , 2nd-6th January 2007, Cape Town init

India should win by 100 runs. I can't see SA scoring more than 200 in the second inngs.

Re: 3rd Test , South Africa vs India , 2nd-6th January 2007, Cape Town init

that is if india doesnt get all out for 200....lol.

Re: 3rd Test , South Africa vs India , 2nd-6th January 2007, Cape Town init

This was intresting finding some viewer send it to cricinfo, there is nothing else mentioned when they posted it.

I don't know if there is anything like record/coincidence, if there is one I did't find it in cricinfo's stats.
