But a note worth mentioning:
Ramdin sure showed how a w/k batsmen can bat!
If you take away his 50, we would be leading by 224..
InshAllah the match should be ours now. If we spoil it from here, then I will just turn off my cricket "chaska" and become a footbal fan!

I honestly don't understand what's the big deal about making certain number of runs in a calendar year. 1700, 1710, 2000, 1000..who cares!

Given the platform that is available to the Pakistan middle order, a target of less than 350 would be below par.

Yes and that is only 350-174 = 176 runs away being only 22 runs per wickets for the 8 wicket left for Pak.

I fear two factors may denie Yousaf the record:
He will be under tremendous pressure, since he is so close, at the start of the macth 149 runs, was far away, so he may not have that big of a chance, so low pressure, but every single that will make him closer to Richard record, it will put him under more pressure. Hope he will succeed.
Though, umpiring is very decent so far, but I wouldn't be surprise if an English (Mark Benson) and an Aussie (Darrel Harper) spoil his fun with a poor decision. And I am also sure, if they made such a decision against Yousaf, every expert, every commentator and every spectator will give them benefits of doubt by saying that they are human beings, and can make a bad decision.
My question will be why didn't they make bad decision against Lara, who enjoyed benefit of doubts in both innings in Multan?
So my these two fears, more of second, make me worry that Yousaf may not get to the record.

But you know if he breaks the record we can expect him to go for a century thus we would have a 350-400 total on board. Its all in the plan. Its like first get in to 20’s than cross 50 and than go for 100. Same here first break the record than score 100 and we will inshAllah have 350-400 lead, make the Windies bat and WIN THE MATCH.
But than again haji Inzimam will be too scared to let Windies bat with the fear of losing the test. Since Pak already has the lead 1-0 haji sahib will be more interested in resting than fielding. Had it been Pak losing with 1-0 he MAY have taken a bold decision. Lets wait and see.
