drama?
Re: 3rd Test: India v South Africa at Nagpur, Nov 25-29, 2015
Sa gone at 79.
India gone for 173. 20 wickets in a day. Ugly pitch
Re: 3rd Test: India v South Africa at Nagpur, Nov 25-29, 2015
India 215 & 173
South Africa 79 & 32/2 (14.0 ov)
South Africa require another 278 runs with 8 wickets remaining
Re: 3rd Test: India v South Africa at Nagpur, Nov 25-29, 2015
Pathetic batting performance by South Africa in India under Amla. They weren't so poor during their last visit to India
By & large SA bowlers did their job. It is not like India have been posting huge totals but South Africans have been struggling to make even 200 in this series!
Amla lacks leadership skills. He may be a good batsman but he is not captaincy material imo
I think SA should make De Villiers both test and ODI captain
Re: 3rd Test: India v South Africa at Nagpur, Nov 25-29, 2015
Speaking of ABD he is the danger man.
Murali Vijay got out uncharacteristically. Had he stayed....
Rahane has been a failure this series. But what a fielder in slips.
Kohli should remove himself from slips. Grassed a sitter. Again.
Rohit played a valuable 2nd inning. Not a Rohit fan. But he hung in there when it mattered.
Have an uneasy feeling south Africa will pull it off.

I know these are spinning wickets but both Ashwin and Jadeja have been close to unplayable in this series (or at least it looks that way!). Imran Tahir has done well too. Runs have been the problem for SA

Re: 3rd Test: India v South Africa at Nagpur, Nov 25-29, 2015
Amla is in woeful form with the bat so unless ABD scores a big hundred, India should win this match with ease
Re: 3rd Test: India v South Africa at Nagpur, Nov 25-29, 2015
duminy gone offering no shot. seems vey much end
Re: 3rd Test: India v South Africa at Nagpur, Nov 25-29, 2015
India wins Test by 124 runs. As hwin 12 wkts in match. Vijay 40 runs was highest! The nervous 30s got to players.
Re: 3rd Test: India v South Africa at Nagpur, Nov 25-29, 2015
Pitch got MOM. Such low and slow wicket
and in adelaide spinner's bowl coming as a bouncer..
Any ways congratz to India. SA didnt had another quality spinner other wise it would have been a bit different
Re: 3rd Test: India v South Africa at Nagpur, Nov 25-29, 2015
Saw most of the match. Yes. The pitch offered a lot of turn. But Amla and Pfaf Duplesis showed it is not unplayable. The way they were going, it appeared the target was within reach.
To the best of my recollection, none of Ashwin wickets were due to low bounce. The one wicket could be Duplesis getting bowled by Mishra - that one may not have bounced as much as expected.
If bouncy tracks can be prepared to favor a host country's strength, so can slow tracks. And if the latter is MoM, so is the former.
Ian Gould missed a few calls in my opinion. 1st inning Amla walked caught behind. Gould was not move and wouod have given not out. (Amla is a good sport). 2nd inning one batsman was plumb - Gould ruled it had touched the glove 1st.
2nd inning one batsman didn't offer a shot to Ashwin delivery pit he'd outside off. Gould ruled it struck outside line of off stump - irrelevant because no shot offered.
The other umpire was spot on.
