Younus Khan has refused to captain in 3rd test. According to latest breaking news on GEO. Can any body confirm?

ok just got confirmed. It is also posted on Jang now.
According to the news Yonus has refused to captain the side after Rao was sent even when he asked for Rauf. Also M. Yosuf has refused to lead the side, so chances are thet Misbah will lead pak in 3rd match.

^ you are right. I think he is the fairest of all players and doesnt believe in politics. Thats the way things work , you give a person the resources he ask for and then hold him accountable if he doesnt succeed.

fair enough he doesnt want captaincy, but why he is the vice captain if he is not willing to captain the side, let someone else take over that role

Now Tendu and Dhoni may be out as well.. I say good for Yuvi and maybe Parthiv to come into the squad along with Pathan & Ishant.

we are pretty screwed for the test with that bowling attack
unless pathan brings some magic and takes a 10 wicket haul we are never going to take 20 wickets
also tendu might not play :(
i think great opportunity for pak to win test and draw series, not going to get any easier

hmmm indians look ripe for the picking, now if only our bowlers (besides akhtar) can start taking wickets and batsmen (besides misbah) start making runs :)

The news from the middle is that India have won the toss and elected to bat first.
India have made four changes to the team that played the second Test, most of them forced changes. Dhoni, Tendulkar, Zaheer Khan and Munaf Patel are out and in comes Yuvraj Singh, Gautham Gambhir, Irfan Pathan and I Sharma.
On the other had Pakistan have made on one change, debutant Yasir Arafat comes in for Sohail Tanvir.
