That is the kind of googly Kaneria needs to bowl, the one that spins back, Kaneria hasn't able to do that until now, thats the one that gets wickets even if the batsman picks it.

By the way, Andrew has just told me there was a bit of retaliatory chat from Kaneria as Pietersen arrived at the crease. No love lost between KP and the Pakistanis, eh, after his run-in with Faisal Iqbal over the weekend.

Does anyone know what happened here?

Apparently (not confirmed) Faisal was making some bold statements. Pietersen told him to get a 50 or 100 first and then talk. And then Faisal got out on a duck.. and on their way back to the pavillion pietersen again said something to faisal like (dekha bachoo??)

He is also a part time off-spinner, so we might have better chances now that the management is not using Afridi. What's your thoughts?

I dont know.. i would always prefer Afridi over Hafeez. Afridi is just as good a spinner as any other part time spinner.. and a better batsman than hafeez. And he's 3 fielders packed in one.

Just the energy alone he brings to the field is enough to merit him a spot in the 11, in my opinion.
