Kindly enlighten me then what is current pair doing? Apart from a four over spell just before Younis khan got out, our batsmen have been taking singles and twos apart from boundaries.

Afridi is an exception. He doesnt care about how the pitch behaves but not all batsmen are gifted with such hand-eye coordination so they will have to bide their time on this pitch, on any pitch they play.

Yaar I was at work at the time and following the game on cricinfo and only going by what I was reading there.

anyways no complaints from me now as they won comfortably if not convincingly in the end but as it happens Pakistan finally got there in the 49th over!
