Malik needs to wake up looks very dull today. I couldn't quite understand his decision of choosing Abdul Rehman for todays game and let him bowl 2nd last over.

No way on this kind a surface a competitive score should be 330+.
I didn't see any specific movement, so that I could justify Indias poor opening.

I am a great fan of 280-299 target scores. This kind of target score, inspite of being very close to 300, tend to put the chasing team into a false sense of comfort that they are chasing a below 300 score.
Much like how something is priced $ 999.99 in the market to psychologically fool the customer into believing that he is not paying $ 1000 dollars.
A 300+ score makes strategy making very easy for the chasing team....which is ...go out and HIT everything that comes your way. A 280-299 target score, however, puts the batsmen in two minds.
The pitch from the looks of it....appears to be hard to understand...some ball bouncing...some others keeping very low...some balls turning viciously.
But if Yuvraj, Dhoni, Pathan can tonk SIXES on this pitch, so can Afridi & Co.
So, match nicely balanced at this point.

Only if India had another batsman or allrounder, things would have been more comfortable for paranoid Indian fans.
