Its quite sad what is happening with this forum.

I remember back in the days any match involving Pak or India would get hundreds of replies. Some good fun with lot of sarcasm and funny one liners with different characters contributing.

Now a decider match could barely touch second page even with few non match related posts.

Where did GS Cricketname go wrong? Is it because people are not interested anymore or moderation policies. Clearly something has to be done, its sad to see once a mighty section dieing a slow death.

It’s because most of the guppies and guppans were sleeping (Europe,U.S.A,Australia) and almost all the subcontinental guppies have either work/migrated to lands like Dutchieland,Bundusland etc.. :smiley:

There is no problem with moderation policies.It is just because a few people are absent from here.

these players need their wages and allowances to be cutoff immediately. Don't waste taxpayer money on these loser team.

Save the money and withdraw from WC, save some dignity that way.

Reality check before the world cup.

Another series decider, another hammering

Pakistan suck in ODI series deciders whether it is a 3 or 5 match series

Batting remains weak and unpredictable

(ps. did not even bother to watch the game live!)

This team is not going to win the WC anyway, so we might as well drop the seniors - Misbah, Afridi and Hafeez and gamble with a young captain such as Fawad Alam.

I can see a repeat of 2003 and 2007 world cup performances. We will get knocked out in the QFs in all likelihood but I'd much rather see a young side at the WC bow out early than the same old faces. At least the youngsters will learn something from the experience!

On present form it looks increasingly likely that Pak will lose against Aus (in Sharjah) and NZ (in NZ) in the one-dayers. so it is not really ideal preparation before the world cup

Even now it's not too late to change the captain, but after the Aus and NZ series it will be.

I had so much passion for Pakistan cricket. But I can see this is it. Time to focus more on other things such as Azadi march!!

Batting sucks, pace/seam bowling is okish, the less said about catching and out fielding the better. Add to that defensive mindset and mental weakness..

It has got nothing to do with moderation policies but the team’s spiral decline itself. Pakistan have been mediocre in cricket for a while now. The team is stuck in a bad losing rut. You might see the odd good performance with the bat and/or ball here and there but generally speaking no one expects them to compete let alone win any more. One can only take so much as a fan. Batting truly sucks (the problem’s in the head as much as it’s in quality). Some of the oldies have perhaps moved on to other things (family life, kids, better jobs etc.) in life or are no longer as passionate about the game (myself included) as they used to be…

I can see our cricket going the same way as hockey
