Re: 3rd ODI: Australia v Pakistan Adelaide 26 Jan
Fawad gone. Now it's up to Afridi and Rana to at least bring the match close.

Re: 3rd ODI: Australia v Pakistan Adelaide 26 Jan
Afridi is playing a mature innings so far.
Re: 3rd ODI: Australia v Pakistan Adelaide 26 Jan
The game is pretty much over. The only thing to see is if Afridi can make it interesting.
Saleem Don't compare Pakistan First Class average with Test Matches or International ODI'S ...... I can tell you lot of paksitani players who did very best in First Class but never played well in Test Matches ........ Fawad should get chance in Test Matches but he is not a ODI player as ODI player should have capability to hit boundaries .........
Sannam, other than first class matches, how can anyone say that a player is good. A player is judged by his first class matches than given chances in international matches, not other way round. If a player is playing good in first class matches than he should be given plenty of chances in international matches too, as once they get confidence they start scoring runs in international matches too.
If you will study international established players than you will find that over a period of time, average of their first class matches and test matches are similar.
No one is great. A player needs plenty of time to get confidence in international cricket and then only they can show their worth.
Actually I never care for Pakistani cricket, because it is not Pakistani team selected on merit from Pakistanis, but it is team of those who have authority and selection is done on basis of personal likes and dislikes, regardless of merit.
It is such a funny country when selection is concerned that at one time there was two openers playing cricket, but lesser opening batsman (Ramaiz Raja with average around 30) was given more games than better opening batsman (Shoaib Mohammad with average of around 45).
