3 per day... 360 a month... its a lot even if!
On a second thought, not every single opens a thread on daily basis, most of the guppies only like to read and a few do participate in some particular threads!
At GS many flooders are evenly adorable among their circles and majority of other reader do like them flooding as well … They are cute! So ...
Let the flooders enjoy it, let them give vent to their cry, let the other read them, we are here to get pleasure from and make other laugh and also to get some knowledge! and we are doing it well, so let it be as it is! Do love the way GS is now! There are already several other but *dim *restrictions and please no more!
Cafe is for relaxations and to do some daily chit-chat, let the kids and those wanna be kids enjoy it full! It will not damage whole GS, let them enjoy ... there are many other sections for serious talks at GS and no one open more than 3 threads over there!

I don't like the idea, its too limiting, too police like. It would turn gupshup into a police state, there is already enough "group bazi" and totalitarian rule around here.
I think freedom of threading should prevail.

ATA, put aside the no's for a moment. The reason i asked for this request to be considered, is that the no. of threads being opened (not just in cafe, but of other forums too) is that they're just childish and idiotic... you get threads opened by folks saying "oh, i have a cold today" or "minimal voice message length, pls dicsuss".
it's getting repetative, day after day. i know not many here start in excess of 3 threads a day, but by implementing, we'll have quality threads here.

I wish but unfortunately can't put that 'no' aside on this matter, because your 'point' is not an issue, its just more like a wish as to do this and to do that! and I don't think any rule is made based on wishes, ...
Beside I don't really bother to see any those ohh, aah, ouch, oee maa, hy Allah threads opened by only one guppy, cuz I have many things to do beside GS and even in that case if some one in life did this 'Gunah-e-Gup-Shapeera' then we have gs mods who are sitting on eggs having power of merging and moving and even deleting, let them move their 'tashreef' and play a bit with Austin power, they are getting rusty already!
so now whats next?
- restrict guppies with 3 post a day ? or
- restrict guppies visiting only three forum a day? or
- restrict guppies to make three friends a day? or ... me slept and I know wishes has no limit... :-( I also have a wish to go to mars and open a 'Cafe-e-Piaala' ... but ...

Who says you have to read each and every thread ? If some thread seems stupid to you ignore it move on to the next. Do you read all of your junk mail ?
