35 pilgrims died in stampede in Hajj

Sadaf2000 Haj is performed over 5 days on the 3rd day you do qurbani which is Eid you still have 2 more days. I dont want to describe the whole procedure but, i am confused when you said it should not be in one day??????

I personally do not think it is so neccessary to perform Haj just in one day when people are dying there...it could be extended to at least three days or maybe if not this they should change something else to stop all these deaths.

There are certain elements of Hajj that have to be performed at one particular time. They cannot be spread out to have half the people do it today, and the remaining half do it tomorrow. If you expect a very large gathering at your wedding, you wouldnt get married twice just to accomodate all the guests, would u:)

However, there are other methods being instituted to control the rush of pilgrims. Numbers are being restricted. The areas are constantly being widened. Masjid Al-Haraam has been expanded numerous times in the past 4 decades. The walkway to muzdalifah has been widened and fitted with air circulators. Restrictions have been placed on the frequency at which one can perform Hajj.

I think saddaf is confusing tawaff with hajj
